Temple Music and Performing Arts invites kids ages 7 - 17 years to audition for Shrek the Musical, hitting the stage March 13, 14, 15 (Early Cast) and March 20, 21, 22 (Late Cast) at 7 PM! (Age exceptions will be considered at the director's discretion.)

Families will have the option to select if they have a weekend preference. This preference should be noted at the time of audition.

Audition Location
Temple Music & Performing Arts Studio on the campus of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3641 N 56th St., Phoenix, AZ 85018. The studio is located to the right of the main church doors.

Production Fee is DUE at AUDITIONS
$375; Additional siblings are $275 each
Early Cast:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30-6:00pm (Beginning February 11)
Saturdays 1:00-4:00pm

Late Cast:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00-7:30pm (Beginning February 11)
Saturdays 1:00-4:00pm

MANDATORY Tech Week Rehearsals:
Both Casts- Saturday, (March 8) 9:00am-4:00pm
Early Cast- Monday-Wednesday, (March 10-12) 5:00-8:00pm
Late Cast- Monday-Wednesday, (March 17-19) 5:00-8:00p
The first rehearsal is on Tuesday, February 11, 2024

Your first lesson is on us!

Here’s the scoop:

• Lessons are given at our Arcadia studio on the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church campus.

• Call and let us know what type of lesson you are looking for. We will ask you a few questions and set you up with a complimentary lesson with one of our amazing instructors.

• After your lesson, contact us and let us know your experience and if private lessons are for you! At that point, your weekly lesson day and time will be confirmed. Easy!

Step On Stage

Programs for OLPH
and St. Theresa Schools

Our youngest performers are "stepping on stage" at OLPH and St. Theresa Catholic Schools! 

This class is an opportunity for your performers to step on stage in a fun filled environment with their peers. They will dance, sing, play theater games, and learn music and choreography in preparation for a showcase performance.  If your little one sings and dances around the house, you have a natural performer. This experience will build confidence, a solid foundation in music and dance, and a love for performing with Temple Music and Performing Arts seasoned instructors.
Class will conclude with a showcase performance!

STCS Preschool-

• Class on Thursdays, 3:00-3:45pm

STCS Kindergarden & 1st Grade-

• Class on Tuesdays, 3:00-3:45pm

Mommy & Me Piano

Learn with your Little One

We are excited about this NEW class offering with our amazing instructor, Jane Maskell. Jane takes her professional and personal skills as a mom of a little one and creates a fun learning environment for Mom or Dad to learn together with little ones age 3-5 years.

This class is a great way to bring music into your child’s life and for Mom to gain skills to share with other kids as well!

Lessons are 30-minutes long and held at our studio in the Prince of Peace campus.
